Skin Aging
The skin is a dynamic organ that is in constant state of change. It is comprised of 2 primary layers – the epidermis which is the outer-most, protective layer of our skin and the dermis, also known as the “true skin”. The dermis is the most important layer and is comprised of fibroblasts that mainly produce collagen and elastin. Collagen makes up 70% of the dermis and plays a vital role in the elasticity and tone of our skin.
